This book is a great little resource for anyone interested in juicing, making delicious smoothies or vegans/vegetarians trying to avoid soy. Not only is it filled with healthy recipes, but Joy Lynn Michaels includes information about the features to consider when buying a blender or juicer, as well as tips to stop you from paying too much for your equipment. She also includes a recipe for a starter juice so you can get creative making your own fun flavor combos. I don't have a juicer, but I make smoothies all the time. Some of the smoothies are things I never would have thought of, but can't wait to try, like the avocado smoothie or the banana cashew smoothie. This book goes well with her breakfast cookbook, because I sometimes don't have much appetite in the morning and a smoothie is perfect at times like that, since I really don't like to skip breakfast.Product details
